Garcelle Beauvais is set to make history and become the 1st Black woman on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. While the Real Housewives of Atlanta is full of Black women, this will the the Beverly Hills edition's first chance of having a Black woman as a part of the cast.
Beauvis, a model may best be known as Fancy from the 90's hit sitcom, The Jamie Foxx Show is making waves for the Black women in the LA area who deserve a shot to be on the show, as there are many other Black women who are more than capable of appearing of the show.
Beauvis said in an interview, "I am excited and proud to be joining the cast of such a wildly popular and beloved show like The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. “As the first African-American Housewife in the Beverly Hills franchise, I am honored and humbled by this awesome opportunity to exemplify the fact that Black Girl Magic lives and thrives in every zip code!”
While we must patiently wait for the release date of season 10 for the Beverly Hill iteration of the reality show to see Garcelle, we know for a fact at some point next year we will see her in the Coming to America 2, the sequel to Coming to America, which originally debuted in 1988.
